Protected sheets are a feature in Excel that allows users to restrict changes to a worksheet, guarding specific cells or the entire sheet from unintentional edits. While sheet protection is intended to safeguard important data and cell formulas, it can sometimes create more headaches than solutions. One frustrating issue is discovering that you cannot copy and paste data into a protected sheet. This problem often arises when the sheet protection settings are too restrictive.
